Sunday Art Video | Tim Fort’s Kinetic Art

This Sunday we have the kinetic art of Tim Fort. With the way the following video starts out I expected it to be six minutes of your typical dominoes falling over to make unique shapes and patterns. I am glad I did keep watching because the kinetic art in the video quickly advances beyond falling dominoes.

Use this link if you’re having trouble viewing this video.

And here is another video that is much shorter with higher resolution. Though I still can not make out the exact details of what is happening with those little sticks.

Now that you’ve seen his videos I recommend you take a few moments to check out Tim’s website www.lunatim.com, or the Tim-Space Discontinuum as it is called. A great site to spend time on if you’re nostalgic for the internet of the early 1990’s.

Do you have some art videos you would like to share? Let me know in the comments.
