Daryle,
I totally agree. The internet is like a huge, people candy store. There are so many places to go, look, and participate. For years, I have signed up, logged in, and registered at countless websites to support and promote my art. However, there comes a point when we have to stand back and figure out how you can optimize your presence. Like you state in this podcast, these sites take time and effort. Honestly, I have gotten overwhelmed at times. Therefore, I have honed down my internet dealings. I canceled my Facebook page. I rarely go to Linkedin. I only visit other art websites occasionally. Now, I concentrate on my own art website, my own blog, my YouTube channels, and use Twitter a lot. These things act as my primary internet presence. This way, I am still “out there” but I have time for my art life!
Thanks for the podcast. I really enjoy your topics!
