Art21: Art in the Twenty-First Century Is Now On Hulu

You may have heard about Hulu, an evil plot by aliens to destroy the world through free television on the internet. Because after all tv rots the brain and tv on the internet really softens it up. (Don’t take my word for it.) And it seems that even high brow television is a weapon in Hulu’s plot. Art21: Art of the Twenty-First Century, the PBS series is now on Hulu.

I find this pretty good news. Art21 is a series that really focuses on the artist and the process of making art. Living breathing artists who are working today. Each episode is just under an hour long and features more than one artist. Currently all 4 seasons of Art21 are available.

“Art:21–Art in the Twenty-First Century is the only series on television to focus exclusively on contemporary visual art and artists in the United States, and it uses the medium of television to provide an experience of the visual arts that goes far beyond a gallery visit. Fascinating and intimate footage allows the viewer to observe the artists at work, watch their process as they transform inspiration into art, and hear their thoughts as they grapple with the physical and visual challenges of achieving their artistic visions.”

I’ve included an episode for your viewing pleasure…
