Any Moleskin Users In The Crowd?

October 14th, 2007 admin Posted in Art on the Web |

I have a couple of Moleskin notebooks. I use them. I use them a lot. The one I carry with me is my catch all for thoughts, ideas, sketches, stickers, and what ever else I want to add to the permanent record of my life. When I dare to dream I envision my Moleskins in a museum long after I am gone. I picture an obscure museum, like the ones found randomly in small towns across the U.S. You know the kind you walk in and some kind elderly woman is sitting behind a desk smiling at you, so happy that you have stumbled across her community’s pride and joy. You then walk around feeling obligated to look at everything and appear as though your interested even though you really want to just leave. Yep, that kind of museum.

But that is not what I am here to tell you about. I am really here to talk about the Moleskin Project. This is taken from the website:

Thousands of artists from around the world have been using legendary Moleskine notebook for their doodles. They became addicted to it. Unfortunately, some of them have gone totally mad. Take Vincent Van Gogh for example. Do you want to become just like them? But of course you do. Read the instructions and submit your Moleskine doodle.

So if you, like me, use Moleskins you might consider submitting.

You can find the Project Moleskin site here.

Thanks Art MoCo for the tip.
